But little attention is paid to flax; a few lots have been sold at £27, £22, £18, aod £15. A sale of 826" pkgs of preserved meat has taken place when New Zealand beef fetched 6d; boiled mutton, 4£d to 6£d; oxtail soup, 63s 4d; cheeps' tongues, 9d. Butter, middling, 48s. to 's2s. per cent. New : Yokk. — Kerosene is dull at 32 cents. There ia activity in wool- whicli . sells at full, rates, New Zealand fetching 48£ to 56 cents. Flax is dull and no sales recorded.
