We are indebted to Mr. B; B. Creagrh, chief officer of tbe Anchor Line Cos. steamer Kennedy, for the following report:—The s.s. Kennedy arrived from the West Coast at 9.30 this morning. She left Nelson on Thursday, 20th inst., at 11 a.ra.; at 5 pm. same day brought up at Mutton Cove, in consequence ot heavy S.W. gr.le. Remained at anchor until Saturday; at 1 p.m. hove up, and proceeded on her voyage, ih company with the p.s. Charles Edward, and arrived off the Buller Bar at 5 p.m. on Sunday; crossed the Bar at 2 am. pn Monday. Landed cargo and left at 3 p_m. same day for Hokitika ; arrived alongside the" Hokitika wharf at 3.30 p.m. on Tuesday. Landed cargo on Wednesday. Detained at Hokitika until Saturday morning owing to heavy fresh in the Eiver and bad Bar ; left Hokitika at 7 a.tn. on Saturday morning, arriving at Greymouth at 10 a.m. Landed 80 tons cargo and took in 39 tons coal, and left same night for Westport, arriving there at 8 a.m. on Sunday. Left Westport at IO a.m. same tide ; experienced S.E. weather, on the passage to this port, arriving as above.
