Note.—ln consequence of the Australian Mails being'now conveyed by British Packets between Brindisi and Alexandria, a reduction in Postage on Letters sent via Brindisi has been effected. The rates-of Postage to be charged in New Zealand on Correspondence for the United Kingdom, via Brindisi, will therefore be as follows :— Letters.—Not exceeding £ ounce, 9d.; exceeding £ ounce and not exceeding 1 ounce, Is. 6d.; and so on, 9d for every additional _ . ounce or fraction of 4 ounce. *• Newspapers under 4 ounces, each 4d.; for # every additional 4 ounces, 4d. Book and Pattern Parcels.—Not exceeding 1 ounce, 2d.; exceeding 1 ounce and not exceeding 2 ounces, 4d.; exceeding 2 ounces and not exceeding 4 ounces, 7d.; exceeding 4 ounces and not exceeding 8 ounces, Is. ?d.; and so on, Is 2d for every additional 8 ounces or fraction ol 8 ounces.
