The Anchor Line Co's p.s Charles Edward, arrived from the West Coast at 5.30 o'clock yesterday morning. She left Nelson on Friday, 9th inst, at 3 p.m., and arrived off Westport at noon the following day, crossing the bar at 2 p.m. Discharged cargo and left again at 4 a.m on Sunday, crossing the Hokitika bar at 2.30 p.m. same day. Left at 4 p.m. on Monday, and arrived in Greymouth at 6.15 p.m. Sailed on Wednesday at 7.30 a.m., arriving off Westport at 3 p.m., entering the river at 6 o'clock. At 7 a.m. on Thursday towed in schoonerN. Io from Melbourne, and after leaving fter^afely^alongside the wharf, took out schooner Ceres.NJound to Melbourne, then returned for passengers, and took her departure for Nelson at 9.45 a.m., arriving as above. She leaves for Westport, Hokitika, and Greymouth at 10 o'clock on Monday night.
