Taranaki, 299 tons, E. Wheeler, commander, left the Onehunga bluff at 3 p.m. on the 16th inst., ami arrived off Taranaki at 8 a.m. on the 17th; left again at 3 p.m. same day, arriving at Nelson at 7 o'clock this morning, having experienced strong S.W. winds and heavy sea throughout the passage
