" In connexion with the recent panic at Adelaide about poisoned mutton, the Adelaide correspondent of a border paper tells a good story of a certain medical gentleman who was in the habit of receiving presents of kangaroo and other game from a friend in the country. Judge, however, of his horror when two days after he got a note from his friend informing him that he had forwarded some diseased mutton* for analysis aud report.
