Mr. O'Conoe : And, Let donkeys bray as loudly as they may. Mr. Donne : Sir ! Mr. O'Conor : I said, Let doji-keys bray as loudly as they may. Mr. Donne : I move, Sir, that those words be takeu down. Mr. O'Conoe : I have not the slightest objection, indeed, I would wish thera to be placed ou record. I said : — Let don-keys bray as loudly as they may. [Exit with hat on head.'] [This is no "skit" gentle reader, no exaggeration, but a fair and truthful account of one of the many scenes that ■lisgrace me.
