We are indebted to the purser of the Taranaki, Mr. Moss, for the following report of that vessel's trip from Otago, The s.s. Taranaki, 299 tons, E. Wheeler corhmander, arrived here at 7 p.m. on Tuesday. She left Port Chalmers at 1.15' p.m. on the 13th, and arrived in Lyttelton -at 1 p.m. on the 14th. Sailed at 6.30 p.m. the following day, and arrived in Wellington at 11 a.m. on Sunday. Sailed at 2.30 a.m. on the 1 18 th, and arrived at Picton at 7 o'clock same morning. After a detention 61 two hours and a-half, sailed for Nelson, and arrived as ahoze.
