Gorge Thomas, and Thomas Hunter, were each fined sa. and costs, for breach of the Cattle Trespass Act. Berry v Mucnaster. This was an action to recover the sum of 15s. the items of the account beiDg as follows : — To value of two turkeys destroyed by your dog 10s. To damage done to my shirt by your wife ss. Muncaster v. Berry. Emily Muncaster, wife of the defendant in the previous action, charged Thomas Berry, of Wakapuaka, with using insulting and provoking language. Both cases, in which Mr. Acton Adams appeared for Muncaster, and Mr. Fell for Berry, were adjourned until next week.
