Wakefield,!tnd FoxliUl— Close at Cliief Post Office daily at 2.30 p.m.; arrive at Chief Post Office dail,y, at 11 o'clock, a.m. For Wakapuaka — Close every Vv r ednes'lay and Saturday, at 2.30 p.m.; arrive every Wednesday and Saturday, at 1 1 a.m. For Tadmor and Wangapeka — Close every j Tuesday and Friday, at 2*30 p.m., and arrive every Tuesday and Friday, at 11 a.m. Note. — In consequence of the Australian Mails being now conveyed by British Packets between Brindisi and Alexandria, a reduction in Postage on Letters sent via Brindisi has been effected. The rates of Postage to be charged in New Zealand on Correspondence for ihe United Kingdom, via Brindisi, will therefore be as follows : — letters. — Not exceeding i ounce, 9d. ; exceeding $ ounce and not exceeding 1 ounce, Is. 6d. ; and so on, 9d for every additional £ ounce or fraction of \ ounce. Newspapers under 4 ounces, each 4d.; for every additional 4 ounces, 4d. Book and Pattern , Parcels.— Not exceeding 1 ounce, 2d. ; exceeding 1 ounce and not exceeding 2 ounces, 4d. ; exceeding '2 ounces and not exceeding 4 ounces, 7d. ; exceeding 4 ounces,' arid not exceeding 8 ounces, Is. ?d.; and so on, 1b 2d for every additional 8 ounces or fraction ot 8 ounces.
