The rates of Postage to be charged in New Zealand on Correspondence for ihe United Kingdom, via Brindisi, will therefore be as follows : — letters. — Not exceeding i ounce, 9d. ; exceeding $ ounce and not exceeding 1 ounce, Is. 6d. ; and so on, 9d for every additional £ ounce or fraction of \ ounce. Newspapers under 4 ounces, each 4d.; for every additional 4 ounces, 4d. Book and Pattern , Parcels.— Not exceeding 1 ounce, 2d. ; exceeding 1 ounce and not exceeding 2 ounces, 4d. ; exceeding '2 ounces and not exceeding 4 ounces, 7d. ; exceeding 4 ounces,' arid not exceeding 8 ounces, Is. ?d.; and so on, 1b 2d for every additional 8 ounces or fraction ot 8 ounces.
