Kennedy, steamer, from West Coast. Murray, steamer, from West Coast. Lyttelton, steamer, from Blenheim. Malay, barque, from Mauritius. Waihopai, schooner, from Manukau. Ann, cutter, from Waitapu. Thames, cutter, from Pelorus. Alert, ketch, from Wairau. Mermaid, ketch, from Havelock. Pearl, ketch, from Collingwood. Collingwood, ketch, from Admiralty Bay. Jane, ketch, from Haveloek.

The Anchor Line Co's s.s. Kennedy, arrived from the West Coast at 8.15 this morning. She left Nelson at 3 p.m. on Thursday, 2nd inst., arriving at Motueka at 5 p.m.; shipped 19 tons of produce and sailed again at 7 p.m., steamed slowly down the Coast and crossed the Buller bar at 5.30 p.m. the next day. Discharged 30 tons cargo on Saturday, and left for Greymouth at 9.30 a.m on Sunday, towing the schooner 10, lor Melbourne. Cros-sed the Grey bar at 7 p.m the same evening ; discharged 26 tons cargo, took in some coal, and proceeded on the voyage to Hokitika at 10 am on Monday, arriving off the bar at midnight, but came to anchor on account of the dangerous state of the bar ; took the bar safely at 9.30 a.m. on Tuesday ; discharged 13 tons cargo, took in 12 tons for northern ports and left at 10.15 a.m. on Wednesday for Greymouth, encountered a strong N W. breeze and heavy head sea, and crossed the bar. at I p.m.; discharged cargo took in the remainner of coal and sailed again at midnight, arriving in Westport at 9.15 a.m. next day. Left again at 12.30 p.m and arrived as above. Had fine weather from Westport to Nelson.
