Sailed from thence at 6.30 a.ra on Wednesday for "Weslport, which bar was" crossed at 4.30 in the afternoon. Left Westport at 8 p.m the same day, steamed dead slow all night and crossed the Karainea bar at 7 a.m on Thursday, discharged 7 cons cargo, and sailed again at 8 o'clock, arriving as above, after a very rapid passage ofl3£ hours. Experienced fresh S.W breeze during the upward passage.
