For Stoke, "Richmond, Hope, Spring Grove, Wakefield, and Foxhill— Close at Cliief Post Office daily nt 2.30, p.m.; arrive at Chief Post Ofiice daily, at 11 o'clock, a.m. For Applebv, Upper and Lower Moutere, Nga Timote, Motuelca, aud Xi waka— Close every Monday and Thursday, at 5.30. a.m.; arrive every Tuesday and Friday, at 4 p.m. Also, for Motueka per steamer as opportunity oilers. Note. — In consequence of the Australian Mails being now conveyed by British Packets between Brindisi and Alexandria, a reduction in Postage on Letters sent via Brindisi hrn been effected. Tbe rates of Postage to be charged in New Zealand on Correspondence for the United Kingdom, via Brindisi, will therefore be as follows : — Letters. — Not exceeding \ ounce, 9d. ; exceeding _■ ounce and not exceeding- 1 ounce, ls. 6d. ; "aod so on, 9d for every additional J ounce or-fraction of £ ounce. Newspapers under 4 ounces, each 4d.; for every additional 4 ounces, 4d. Booh and Pattern Parcels. — Not exceeding 1 ounce, 2d. ; exceeding 1 ounce and not exceeding a-ouuecs, 4d. ; exceeding •> ounces and not exceeding 4 ounces, 7d. ; exceeding 4 ounces and not exceeding 8 ounces, Is.
