Registered Letters and Money Orderf, at 11 a.m. For Stoke, Bichmond, Hope, Spring Grove, Wakefield, and Foxhill— Close at Chief Post Office daily at 2.30, p.tn. ; arrive at Chief Post Office daily, at 11 o'clock, a.m. Eor Wakapuaka — Close every Wednesday and Saturday, at 2.30, p.m.; arrive every Wednesday and Saturday, at 1 1 a.m. For Appleby, Upper and Lower Moutere, Nga Timote, Motueka, and Kiwaka — Close every Monday and Thursday, at 8.30, a.m.; arrive every Tuesday and Friday, at 4 p.m. Also, for Motueka per steamer as opportunity offers. For Tadmor and Wangapeka — Close every Tuesday and Friday, at 2.30 p.m., and arrive every Tuesday and Friday, at 11 a.m. Note. — In consequence of tlie Australian Mails being now conveyed by Hriti.-*h Packets between Brindisi and Alexandria, a reduction in Postage on Letters sent via Brindisi haa been effected. The rates of Postage to be charged in New Zealand on Correspondence for the United Kingdom, via Brindisi, will therefore be as follows : — Letters. — Not exceeding £ ounce, 9d. ; exceeding i ounce and not exceeding 1 ounce, Is. 6d. ; and so on, 9d for every additional £ ounce or fraction of £ ounce. Newspapers under 4 ounces, each 4d. ; for every additional 4 ounces, 4d. Book and Pattern Parcels.— Not exceedins 1 ounce, 2d. ; exceeding 1 ounce and not exceeding 2 ounces, 4d. ; exceeding i ounces aud not exceeding 4 ounces, 7d. ; exceeding 4 ounces and not exceeding 8 ounces, ls. *.'d.; and so on, ls 2d for every additional 8 ounces or fraction of 8 ounces.
