MAILS CLOSE. For New Plymouth and Auckland, for Honolulu, America, the West Indies, the United Kingdom, and tbe Continent of Europe, via San Francisco — per s.s. Airedale, this day, Saturday, 4th inst , at 5 p.rn, Note.— The next Mail for India, China, Cape of Good Hope, the United Kingdom, the Continent of Europe, via Suez, and Brindisi, will close at Nelson, per s.s. Alhambra, expected about the 10th inst. Eor Stoke, Richmond, Hope, Spring Grove, Wakefield, and Foxhill— dose at Chief Post Office daily at 2.30, p.m.; arrive at Chief Post Office daily, al 1 1 o'clock, a.m. For Tadmor and Wangapeka — Close every Tuesday and Friday, at 2.30 p.m., and arrive every Tuesday and Friday, at 11 a.m. For Appleby, Upper and Lower Moutere, Nga Timote, Motueka, and Riwaka — Close every -Monday and Thursday, at 8.30, a.m.; arrive every Tuesday and Friday, at 4 p.m. Also, for Motueka per steamer as opportunity offers.
