Accident. — A painful accident occurred ou Saturday h.3t, to Mr. :W. Dickenson, a gentleman of nearly 80 years of age, who, when walking on the wl arf, slipped on one of the rails, and, falling down, dislocated bis right shoulder. Mr. Dickenson, ou finding that his arm was injured, drove up at once to Dr, Cotterell's, from whom we learn that after some trouble he succeeded in reducing the dislocation, aud that his patient is now progressing favorably. . Excursion' Trip. — '■ The Tarapaki which sailed for Wellington yesterday moruinp, and arrived there at 7.30 p.m, took a goodly crowd of excursionists, numbering in all considerably over 100. They consisted of an eleven who are to do battle with the Wellington cricketers, although we regret to find that three of our best men are left behind ; the Ama r ; teur Christy Minstrels, who propose giving two performances . dqriug. their visit, and several boating men who have taken over the' Minnehaha, Rose, Nemo, and Phantom, and will ho doubt be 'able to give a good -account of themselves on I their return on Wednesday, i ,• -•*.■.. ; .".
