The rates of postage to be charged in New Zealand on correspondence for the United Kingdom, via Marseilles and Brindisi, will, therefore, be as follows : — Eates via Marseilles and Brindisi. Letters. — Not exceeding \ ounce, ls. 3d, ; exceeding \ ounce and not exceeding 1 ounce, 28. 6d. ; exceeding 1 ounce and not exceeding \\ ounce, 3s. 9d ; and fo on is. 3d. for each § ounce or fraction of \ ounce. Newspapers under 4 ounces, each 4d. a Book and Pattern Parcels. — Not exceeding 1' ounce, 2d. ; exceeding 1 ounee and not exceeding 2 ounces, 4d. ; exceeding "2 ounces and not exceeding 4 ounces, 7d. ; exceeding 4 ounces and. not exceeding 8 ounces, Is. ?d.
