William Aubrerj was charged with assaulting a hoy named George HenryFrank, by striking him with a stove ; a second charge was preferred against him for using obscene and indecent language in Trafalgar-street. Prisoner was sentenced to 14 days' imprisonment, with hard labor, for each offence. Dreyer v. Superintendent of Nelson. This was an action to recover £43 103. for breach of contract on the part of the defendant, in not issuing a lense as agreed upon, in the Wangapeka district.
