STor Stoke, Richmond, Hope, Spring Grove, Wakefield, and Foxhill— -Close at Chief Post Office daily at 2.30, p.m.; arrive at Chief Post Office daily, at 11 o'clock, a.m. For Appleby, Upper and Lower Moutere, Nga Timote, Motueka, and Iliwaka— Close every Monday and Thursday, at 8.30, a.m.; arrive every Tuesday and Friday, at 4 p.m. Also, for Motueka per steamer as opportunity offers. For Wakapuaka — Close every Wednesday and Saturday, at 2.30 p.m.; arrive every Wednesday and Saturday, at a.m. For Tadmor and Wangapeka — Close every Tuesdav and Friday, at. 2.30 p.m., and arrive every Tuesday and Friday, at 11 a.m. For Waimea-west — Close every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, _it 2.'-"0 p.m. ; arrive every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, at 11 a.m. For Arnuri — By every opportunity via Christ church or Blenheim. Notice. — On and after Ist proximo, commissions on Money Orders drawn on the United Kingdom will be charged at double the present rates. For sums under £2 the commission will be 23.; under £5, commission 5s ; under £7 commission 75.; under £10 commission 10s. Notice. — The following is the rate of postage from this day: — Country letters posted at any office for delivery at any other «*fficein the Colony 2d. per half ounce; for delivery at the office where posted, Id. per half ounce Notice — Payments of Premiums on Government Lite Assurance Policies, may be made through any Money Order < >ffi<-e in Great Britain or the Australian Colonies, on the days noted in the Policies ; but the Government reserves to Itself the right of requiring pay ments to be made, in Great Britain three months, and in the Australian Colonies, one month in advance, should it be deemed necessary.
