Mining Shares. — Mr H.J L. Augarde quotes Perseverance Shares 40s. paid, at par. Culliford Shares, £l 17s. 6d. paid, at 30s. Business done this day. Perseverance Company. — The Lady Barkly brought this afternoon the results of a month's crushing at the Perseverance Battery, namely, 130ozs from 260 tons of stone. We have been informed that some persons have been in the habit of making fires and breaking the windows and otherwise damaging tlie property belonging to Dr. Renwick, adjoining and on the town side of the Cemetery. It will be seen by an advertisement that a reward of £5 is offered for the conviction of the offenders, who we hope will be brought to justice. Christ Church. — We are requested to remiud those of our readers who are members of the Christ Church congregathat to-morrow is the day appointed by the Parish Executive for making the first of the two collections in aid of the General Church Fund. It will be remembered that the parishioners at the last Easter meeting objected to a fixed proportion of the weekly offertories being devoted to this fund, but at the same time were unanimous in voting that collections should be made on two Sundays in every year for that special purpose, believing that the amount thus raised would be more than equivalent to that which was expected by the Bishop as the result of his scheme.
