Volunteer Fire Brigade. — The annual meeting of the brigade was held last evening, when the balance sheet was read and adopted, and votes of thanks passed to Mr. H. Adams, ami Mr. Pitt for their kindness in auditing the accounts. The whole of the retiring officers having been unanimously re-elected, it was decided that the annual dinner should take place at the Trafalgar Hotel, on Thursday evening at 7 o'clock, and that his Honor the Superintendent should be requested to take the chair. Among the accounts presented and passed was one from Mr. Moore, of the Windsor Castle lun in Bridge-street, the adjoining building to Mr. Shea's house which was lately burned. Some discussion took place over this account which was for four bottles of brandy, supplied to the Brigade on the night of the fire, as if; was thought that, considering Mr. Moore's house, which was uninsured, was saved by the exertions of the Brigade, the slight refreshment provided to the workers might have been left uncharged for. The account however was paid, and the receipt is now filed amongst the documents of the Brigade.
