Steamek Gothenburg. — M'Meckan, Blackwood, & Co.'s s.s. Gothenburg, under the command of Captain Pcarce, a gentleman well and favorably known as chief officer of the Alhambra and Tararua, arrived in harbor to-day at 1 p.m. The Gothenburg left Hobson's Bay on the afternoon of the 27th ult., and passed Swan Islund on the following day at 5.30 p.m. ; experienced light i variable winds until the evening of the 31st, then j fresh sou-westers until sighting the land; passed , the Solander at 10 a.m. on the Ist, and arrived in Bluff harbor at 4 p m. same day, afrer a rapid passage; discharged cargo, and lefc at 5.30 a.m. on Friday, and arrived at Port Chalmers at 6 p.m. same day; discharged cargo, and left at 5.15 p.m. on the 3rd; cleared the heads at 6 p.m., arriving at Lyttelton at 1 p.m. on the 4th; left Lyttelton at 6.00 p.m. on the sth, and cleared the heads at 7 p.m., and experienced a heavy southerly gale till arrival at Wellington ; left Wellington wharf at 2.15 p.m., and cleared the Heads at 3 p.m. on the 7ih, and arrived off the Boulder Bank, Nelson, at 4 a.m. on the Sth, experienced light head winds during the passage, (
