NELSON SCHOOLS.
To the Editor of the Nelson Evening Mail. Sir, — With refereuce to a letter which appeared in the columns of your contemporaries, signed "F. Tucker," teacher of the second division of the Hampden-streefc school, lam requested to forward a copy of a resolution passed by the Local Education Committee. I am, &c, Henry Duett, Hon. Secretary. Nelson, September 1, 1870. COPY OF RESOLUTION. "That a deputation of the Town Schools Committee having visited Harap-deu-street school, and having expressed their full concurrence in the report of the Inspector, the Committee find that the said report wa3 justified by the condition of the school at the time of the visit of the deputation."
