Steamer Taranaki. — The s.s. Taranaki, E. Wheeler, Commander, left Onehunga at 3 p.m. on the 25th ; was detained inside the Manukau bar till 9 a.m. on Sunday, ana rerosuned off the Manukau Heads till 4 p.m. same day, then proceeded to Taranaki under easy steam and arrived at 10 a.m. Sailed from Taranaki at 7 a.m, on the 30th, and made fast alongside the Nelson wbarf at 9 p.m. same day. The Taranaki experienced a strong S.E. gale from Manukau to Cape Egmont, thence light winds and fine weather till arrival as above.
