Steamer Kennedy.—Messrs N. Edwards and Co's s.s. Kennedy, Captain Whitwell, arrived this afternoon at half-past 1 o'clock. She left Nelson at 2 p.m. on Tuesday last, experienced strong N.E. winds, and arrived off Westport at 10 am. next day, crossing the bar at 1 p.m. Landed 30 tons cargo, and left same tide tor Hokitika, arriving there at midnight. Landed a large cargo, and received 4,000 feet of timber and 4 tons general goods. Left again at 2 p.m. on Thursday, arriving at Greymouth at 4.30 p.m.; landed small cargo, took in 30 tons coal, and sailed at 3 a.m. on Eriday,for Westport; arrived alongside the wharf at 1 p.m., discharged timber, and sailed at 4 p.m. ior Nelson, arriving as above, having accomplished the round voyaye in four days, the fastest we believe on record.
