SIR, — Having circulated that it was the decision of Gaol Visiting Justices Messrs Blackett and Pollock, that I should be dismissed, that ifc was their decision at the enquiry held at the gaol on the 4th of July last, concerning the escape of the prisoner McPherson, who was employed as cook there, I beg to state that I ara perfectly satisfied since the enquiry held lash Friday at the gaol, that it was not their decision that I should be dismissed.
