For Stoke, Richmond, Hope, Spring Grove, Wake field, and Foxhill— Close at Chief Post Office daily at 2.30, p.m.; arrive at Chief Post Office daily, at 11 o'clock, a.m. For Tadmor and Wangapeka — Close every Tuesday and Friday, at 2.30 p.m., and arrive every Tuesday and Friday, at 11a.m. For Waimea- west — Close every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, at 2.30 p.m. ; arrive every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, at 11 a.m. Notice — Payments of Premiums on Govern ment Life Assurance Policies, may be made through any Money Order Office in Great Britain or the Australian Colonies, on the days noted in the Policies ; but the Government reserves to itself the right of requiring payments to be made in Great Britain three months, and in the Australian Colonies, one month in advance, should it be deemed necessary. The progressive rates of postage on letters posted in New Zealand for delivery in the Australian Colonies, or Great Britain, or British Colonies or Possessions, not exceeding § oz., one rate ; exceeding | oz., but not exceeding 1 oz., two rates ; exceeding 1 oz., and not exceeding 1, oz., three rates ; and so on for every additional § oz. or fraction of half-an-ounce, one rate.
