Left the Buller at midnight and arrived off Greymouth at 5.30 a.m. on Tuesday, crossing the bar at noon. Left Greyraouth at 2.30 p.m., the next day, the bar being very shallow, and reached Westport early yesterday morning. Left again shortly after 3 p.m. crossing the bar five minutes before the s.s, Murray, and arrived in Nelson at 11.30 this morning, thus beating the Murray by one hour and ten minutes,
