o AN INQUIRY. • To the Editor of the Nelson Evening Mail. | Sir, — Can you inform me whether it is true that the person in charge of the Perseverance Mining Works has not had experience as a practical miner ? I think that under the most experienced hands the work may fail, how then is it possible that it can succeed with inexperienced hands ? Your's &c., A Shaeeholder.
