The necessity for establishing a Crushing Coradany at Wangapeka without delay, for advancing both the interests of the mining community and those of the Agricultural districts of the Waimeas, and also of the Province generally, is so obvious, that it is not requisite to dwell on that point in this prospectus. Already upwards of 400 shares have been applied for. Arrangements have been entered into for securing a permanent right to a site for the [ machinery, with an ample supply of water, consisting of at least eight full sluice-heads. A guarantee for crushing the stone from several large claims lias also been arranged for. The Provisional Directors, who were appointed at a public meeting, propose to purchase a battery of at least ten stampers, and to erect a powerful waterwheel sufficient for all possible require ment-i of the Company.
