Murray, to-morrow, Saturday, at 8.30 a.m. for Stoke, Richmond, Hope, Spring Grove, Wakefield, and Foxhill— Close at Chief Post Office daily at 2.30, p.m.; arrive at Chief Post Office daily, at 11 o'clock, a.m. For Waimea-west — Close every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, at 2.30 p.m. ; arrive every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, at 11 a.ni. For Appleby, Upper and Lower Moutere, Nga Timote, Motueka, and Riwaka — Close every Monday and Thursday, at 8.30, a.m.; arrive every Tuesday and Friday, at 4 p.m. Also, for Motueka per steamer as opportunity offers. For Wakapuaka— Close every Wednesday and Saturday, at 2.30, p.m.; arrive every Wednes day and Saturday, at 11 a.m.

Notice — Payments of Premiums on Government Life Assurance Policies, may be made through any Mw .,, Order Office in Great Britain or the Australian Colonies, on the day s noted in the Policies ; but the Government reserves to itself the right of requiring payments to be made in Great Britain three months, and in the Australian Colonies, one month in advance, should it be deemed necessary. The progressive rates of postage on letters posted in New Zealand for delivery in the Australian Colonies, 'or Great Britain, or British Colonies or Possessions, not exceeding § oz., one^ rate ; exceeding £ oz., but not exceeding 1 oz,, two rates ; exceeding 1 oz., and not exceeding 1£ oz., three rates ; and so on for every additional § oz. or fraction of half-an-ounce, one rate. Postage for the Australian Colonies (except Western Australia) to be as follows, from and after the Ist instant, viz : — Not exceeding | oz., 3d. ; not exceeding 1 oz., 6d. ; not exceeding 1| oz., 9d. ; and so on increasing 3d. for every £ oz.
