Customs Revenue. — A ireturn published in Thursday's Gazette states the Customs revenue received at the Port of Nelson, for the quarter ending 30th .Tune, to have been £7394 os. 5d., and at Westport, for the same period^ £6741 15s. od. The Barque Hera.' — A telegram has been received by a gentleman in town from Mr. James Blick of Marlborough, stating that thf* Hera has been raised but not yet pumped out. We are informed that she will be brought to Nelson where she is expected to arrive in a few days. The Chkisty Minstrels performed again last night, wheu the house was uot quite so full as on the previous evenings. The programme, however was carried out most successfully and apparently to the entire satisfaction of the audience. There will be another entertainment this evening i at the usual time. | Flax Door-mats. — We have just been shown au excellent specimen of door-mats tnade by Messrs. Symons & Malcolm of Richmond. The mats appear to be exceedingly strong and well made, and if they : can be produced at a price to compete with those in ordinary use will in all probability very soon drive them out of the market.. Meeting at Wakapuaka. — A public meeting' was held at the Black Horse Inu, on ThursdayYevening last to take into consideration the financial policy of the Government. The meeting, however, proved entirely barren of results, a resolution proposed by Mr. Pierson, in favor of the Government scheme, being lost, as was also._au amendment proposed by Mr. Mar. tiu. Collingwood. Goldfields. — We have been shown a capitally executed lithograph plan of Collingwood Goldfields which has lately beeu .pi-opared under the directions of ™Ji R. P. 3Jam... ; -. The pian, whichi is for sale at .a very, moderate charge at Mr. Tingle's, not only shows the sites of. the various claims* but gives an excellent idea of the main. features of the neighbor-., ing country. •; Steamer Lady " Barely.— lt will be seen by advertisement that a special trip for the convenience of the numerous sportsmen now in Motueka will be made by the Lady Barkly to-morrow. Owing to the steamer haviag been undergoing certain repairs she has not been able to make her usual trip across the Bay to-day, aud Mr. Cross' consideration hr sending her over to-morow,',will no doubt be appreciated by those who would, otlierwise.be uuable to return before Wednesday.
