POSTAL.
To THE EdITOE OF THE NELSON EVENING- MATE. Sir — As your paper appears to be the medium of ventilating letter-ary grievances I beg to ask if you can tell me why I have not received a letter from my brother for the last three months. I desire also to ioform your correspondent "Anglo-Saxon," in answer to his 4th 'query, that, though au outsider, I believe professional etiquette usually debars the legal fraternity from advertising. It is said " the exception proves the rule," as has been proved lately in Nelson. I am, &c, Braces and Spurs.
Why is a fashionable doctor like Job ? — jbccauae he has great patients (patience).
