A SUGGESTION.

To the Editor of the Nelson EvEivixa Mail. Sir — I avail myself of the medium of your columns to call upou our city member, A. S. Collins, Esq., to move for a return of the cost of the present sitting of the Provincial Council. I am afraid it amouuts to a very large sum, and I should like to hint that the course some of the members have liiiherto pursued may, in a constitutional point of view, appear to them justifiable, but to the taxpayer wh;'t is it? What makes me more anxious to see this return is that I hear it has cost the Province £600 to pass a measure — the Executive Bill — which will entail a further and useless expenditure of about £1500 per annum. Yours, &c. Elector.
