The s.s. Murray arrived at Nelson on Sunday evening at 6 o'clock. Captain M'Gillivray reports leaving Nelson last Wednesday at 5 30 p.m. Experienced fine weather until arriving off Westport on Thursday at 1 p.m., crossed the bar at 5, discharged 10 tons cargo, and wailed for Greymouth at 8 same evening ; went under easy steam and arrived in Greymouth on Friday at 7 a.m. ; left at 9 p.m. for Hokitika, arriving ofl the bar at midnight, came to anchor until the morning tide, crossed the bar on Saturday at 8 a.m.; discharged cargo, and sailed for Westport at 10 a.m., arriving there at 7.30 p m., and sailed for Nelson at 10 p.m., arriving here as above.
