Latest Natjve News. —The following telegram has been received by the Colonist: —Napier, Tuesday. A telegram has been received from Mr. M'Lean, in the Bay of Plenty, reporting the capture lof an important Uriwera Pa, by Ropata, and the seizure of forty prisoners. Ropata has gone again after Te Kooti. The M cache's Bay Times is responsible for the following : —During the last eight months our forces have killed 79 uatives at a cost of £400,000 —each dead Hauhau having, therefore, cost the colony as much money as the Government are now offering for the capture of Te Kooti.
