NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to the several SHAREHOLDERS in tlie above Company, that an EXTRAORDINARY MEETING of the SHAREHOLDERS will be held at the ODD-FELLOWS' HALL, on SATURDAY, the 9th day of April, at the hour of 7.30 p.m., to take into consideration the following Pruposal by tbe Directors : — That in consequence of the Prospectors being unable to carry out their original agreement with the Company, the Directors be authorised to cancel the same, and to enter into a new contract with the Prospectors, subject to the following terms : — That the Prospectors shall forthwith transfer to the Company the Quartz Claim allotted to the Prospectors, under the Goldfields Regulations, of 300 feet along the reef, by 30;) feet, of the land at at Wangaptka, agreed to be sold to the Company, and also any water and other rights they may be entitled to in that District. That tbe Company should pay to the Prospectors for the same the sum of £1000, one-half of which lias been already paid under the original contract, and the remainder to be paid on ti e transfer of the Claim to the Company. The Directors to allot to the Prospectors 300 paid-up shares, and the Prospectors to take 100 ordinary shares. That the Deed of Settlement of the Company should be amended in conformity with such agreement.
