COLLIFORD GOLD-MINING COMPANY: (Registered.) NOTICE is Hereby Given to the several SHAREHOLDERS in the above Company that an EXTRAORDINARY MEETING of the SHAREHOLDERS will beheld at the ODDFELLOWS' HALL, on TUESDAY, the sth day of April, at the hour of 7.30 p.m , to take into consideration the following Proposal by the Directors : — That in consequence of the Prospectors being unable to carry out their original agreement with the Company, the Directors be authorized to cancel the same, and to enter into a new contract ■with the Prospectors, subject to the following terms : — That the Prospectors should forthwiih obtain a Mining Lease, under the Goldfields Act, of 300 feet along the reef, by 300 feet of the land, at Wangapeka, agreed to be sold by them to the Company and assign the same to the Company together with any water rigkts they may be entitled to in that District. That the Company should pay to the Prospectors for the same the sum of £1000, one-half of which has been already paid under the original contract, and the remainder to be paid on the transfer of the Lease to the Company. The Directors to allot to the Prospectors 30 > paid-up shares, and the Prospectors to take 100 ordinary shares. • That the Deed of Settlement of the Company should be amended in conformity with such agreement. ' The Prospectors to have the benefit of any compensation they may receive from the Government for breach of the contract for the sale of the land to them. WILLIAM STAVERT, 544 Legal Manager.-
