Ottawa, January 7. A special says, private in formation from Pembeua on. perfectly reliable- authority says the United States Government has been notified, from a source of which it is bound to take notice, that the Cauadian adherents in the Red River country have incited the Sioux to ri=e ou Pembena and St. Joseph, in retaliatiou, as alleged, for aid and contenauce given to the Red River rebellion by American citizens.
