"LATE" PURCHASERS.
To the Editor op the Nelson Evening Mail. Sir — I find the following iv the Colonist of yesterday : — " The two local journals who have made themselves subservient to the Provincial Government and the late land purchasers," &c. Now, it is hardly fair to remind the unfortunate fellows who were late on the morning of the memorable 14th October of their mischance, and it is scarcely delicate of the editor of the Colonist especially to do so. It is bad enough to have been too late, but it is unbearable to be taunted with it. I am, &c, One of them.
