o [Before J. Sham?, Esq., R.M.] 'I his Day. Furious Riding. Samuel Adams, charged with furious riding in Trafalgar-street on the 7th inst., was fined £2 and costs, 15s. 6d. Cattle Trespass. T. B. Louisson, and Samuel Wakeley were each fiued ss. and costs for permitting their horses to stray on the public thoroughfare. Vagrancy. Richard Green, a miner from the Mat'ikitaki, was charged with wandering about the town having no visible means of support. Prisoner, on promising to quit the town at once, was discharged with a warning.
