Cumraina and Co,, of London, in which it is stated that a committee of English and Australian gentlemen formed in London has concluded arrangements for a line of steamers from Milford Haven to Portland and another line in correspondence from San Francisco to Sydney. The company is prepared to carry mails on the following terras : — Ships to average from 2500 to 3500 tons ; Every voyage to he performed within 40 days to Sydney ; Security to be given to the satisfaction of the Government ; Subsidy to be £1000 for each voyage ; Contract to be for ten years.
