SHIPPING INTELLIGENCE.
The Circular Saw Cos. s.s. Airedale left Otago for Northern Ports at 6 p.m. on tbe 3rd, calling at Akaroa and Lyttelton, and arriving at Wellington at 10 a.m. on the sth. On the run between the latter Ports the ran 12 knots per hour. Started on an excursion for Port Underwood and Picton, at 7.30 a.m. on the 7th instant; had on board 400 people, and returned to Wellington at 11.30 p.m. Sailed again at 3 am. on the Sth, arrived at 7.30 p.m.; sailed again at 4.30 this morning, arriving in Nelson at '20 minutes to 1. She brings a large number of excursion passengers for the North.
