AT A GENERAL MEETING OF SUBSCRIBERS of the PIONEER MINING COMPAISY, held at the Trafalgar Hotel, on Monday, February 7, it was unanimously Resolved that a CALL of TWO POUNDS per Share be made, to be PAID to the Secretary, Mr. J. M'lntosh, within FOURTEEN DAYS. And it was further Resolved, that present Subscribers shall be at liberty to Transfer their Shares should they so desire, on giving notice to the Secretary, and that any SHARES on which the CALL of TWO POUNDS now made IS NOT PAID on or before the 22nd instant, SHALL BE FORFEITED. The REGATTA CLUB have much pleasure in announcing that the ANNUAL REGATTA is held TO-DAY, WEDNESDAY, the 9th inst. Subscribers are requested to forward names without delay. In consequence of the yacht Red Jacket's arrival to compete for the Challenge Cup, the Regatta is unavoidably compelled to be held before the departure of the Lord Ashley, as the Red Jacket leaves by that boat. The following is the proposed programme — 11 a.m. Waterman's Race : Two oars ; 3 miles 12 noon, Open Sailing Boats t 4 miles Ditto, 2nd Class. 1 p.m. Coasters : 8 miles. 2 p.m. Yachts (for Cup): 8 miles 8 p.m. Whaleboats : Five oars ; 5 miles 4 p.m. Amateur Whaleboats : Five oars ; 4 , miles 4.30 p in.
