The REGATTA CLUB have much pleasure in announcing that the ANNUAL REGATTA will be held on WEDNESDAY, the 9th instant. Subscribers are requested to forward names without delay. In consequence of the yacht Red Jacket's arrival to compete for the Challenge Cup, the Regatta is unavoidably compelled to be held before the departure of the Lord Ashley, as tbe Red Jacket leaves by that boat. The following is the proposed programme — 11 a.m. Watkrman's Race : Two oars ; 3 miles 12 noon, Open Sailing Boats : 4 miles 1 pm. Coasters : 8 miles. 2 p.m. Yachts (for Cup): 8 miles 3 p m.
