Sir — It is commonly reported that when the Secretary to tlie Domett enquiry was on the top of Mount Owen the other day he discovered that Wakefield was ' within the South West Goldfields. Can . you tell me whether there is any truth in tbe report? Yours, nervously, Spring Grove. [Wakefield, like Mount Owen, is perils patetic. — P.D.]
