' -For Stoke, Richmond, Hope, Spring Grove, Wakefield, and Foxhill— Close at Chief Post Office daily at 2.30, p.m.; arrive at Chief Post Office daily, at 1 1 o'clock, a.m. For Appleby, "Upper and Lower Moutere, Motueka, and Biwaka— Close every Tuesday and Thursday, at 8.30, a.m.; arrive every Tuesday and Friday, at 4 p.m. Also, for Motueka per steamer as opportunity offers. For Collingwood, Motupipi, Takaka, Waitapu, and Slateford — By every opportunity, per steamer or sailing boat. Brigham Young has lost his family Bible, and is in trouble to find out how many children he has, or what their names are. The standard phrase of Toronto loyalty to Prince Arthur was the invocation of a blessing " for his good mother's sake." A young woman wanted to kiss him "for his mother," but when informed by one of the suite that she might do it for his own sake, she indignantly declined.
