A Practical "Joke." — At the King's Head public-house, Somershara, some young men put a piece of tobacco into a kettle oyer the fire, "for a lark." Tea was subsequently made with the water in the kettle, of which a young man and a young woman unsuspectingly partook. They were both seized' with alarming illness, and it was with some difficulty that the. life of the young woman was saved. There is a question of prosecuting the perpetrators of this stupid and dangerous. practical 1 jcfee.'
