Missions. — We are requested to remind our readers that the annual sermons in aid of the funds of the Melanesian Missions will be preached at Christ Church, to-morrow, in the morning by the Rev. G. H. John stone, and in the evening by the Lord Bishop of the Diocese. Town Bate. — We are requested to remind the ratepayers of Nelson that the rate is payable at the Board of Works Office, on Monday next, between the hours of nine and four. Persons neglecting to pay upon that day are liable to be sued for the amounts due by them without further notice.
