These races came off in the early part of this week, the first day being a regular " soaker," the rain never ceasing from morning till night. Owing to our files being incomplete we are unable to give the result of the second day's racing. Metropolitan Handicap, 200 soys., 2 miles. Won by Mr. Hunt's Kaiser. Mr. Stafford's Lacenfeed ran, but was nowhere. Garrison Plate, 60 soys. entrance 5 soys. 1 J miles. Mr. Stafford's Nebula 1 Mr. Walter's Numa 2 Auckland Handicap, 50 soys., entrance, 1 soy., 1J miles. Mr. Stafford's Nebula 1 Mr. Walter's Orlando 2 Two others ran. Consolation Handicap, 20 soys., entrance, 2 soys. Won by Mr. Walter's Yatterina, Mr. Stafford's Lacenfeed coming in third.
